Charlene is the Director and Case Supervisor of Autism Behavioral Center (ABC) ; a trained senior ABA therapist and team leader, working with children in the spectrum in Malaysia for more than 8 years now. Under the tutelage of a leading center in Kuala Lumpur, as well as having the opportunity to work along side consultants and BCBA’s from USA, Charlene has worked with children and families from all ages and backgrounds. Charlene possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University College, and a Certificate in Special Education Needs and Learning Disabilities and she is a certified Play Therapy Practitioner. Charlene is currently pursuing her Masters in Education, majoring in Early Childhood Education (MEd-ECE). Charlene currently divides her time working with families and therapists under ABC, working as part of the behavioral team at Baby & Beyond Pediatric Clinic (Publika), and well as lectures in the College of Allied Educators in KL, primarily in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), autism, classroom behavior management and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). Charlene actively trains parents and therapists around the country, as well as provides school shadow aide services in local and international schools for special needs children and children in the autism spectrum.
Rogini is a consultant and senior ABA therapist as well as an in house trainer with Autism Behavior Center (ABC). She has worked with numerous kids since 2014 with ABC. Rogini is well versed with children on the spectrum in various age groups and severity as well as families with different backgrounds. Rogini possesses a Bachelor of Honors in Psychology from the University of Lancaster, UK . Throughout her young career she has enhanced her commitment to the field by attaining certification in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Rogini also has certification in Oral placement therapy: A three part treatment plan (Level 1) and Assessment & Program Planning Development (Level 2) from Talk Tools, Singapore. Rogini is currently pursuing her training by pursuing certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) with Behavioral Analysis Academy. Working under ABC, Rogini provides one to one ABA therapy in Baby & Beyond Child Specialist Clinic (Publika), home and center based therapy. Rogini is also experienced in writing individualized educational programs, running assessments as well facilitating new therapist and parents.
Fanny is the Senior ABA Therapist and In-House Trainer with Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). She has been working with children in the spectrum for 3 years now. Fanny is experienced working with children in varying levels on the spectrum (mild to severe), as well as is currently working with varying ages; from young learners to teenagers. She possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University. She also has received Oral Placement Therapy Training in Singapore and the Hanen Teacher Training from a certified practitioner. She is currently pursuing her certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BcaBA) with the Behavioral Analysis Academy. Fanny runs independent one-to-one ABA session in the center and home support, as well as providing ABA training to junior therapist and parents.
Wen Zi was first influenced by the joy she received in caring for children and how it made her feel. After that, she began working with children, and seeing how they learned from her, impacted her strongly. She is a Senior Applied Bahavioural Analysis (ABA) therapist who has been working with children in the spectrum in Autism Behavioral Centre (ABC) since 2015. She is well experienced when it comes to working with children in varying levels on spectrum (mild to severe) at various age groups and severity as well as families with different backgrounds. She has completed her Bachelor (Honours) Psychology Degree with Sunway University specializing for twinning with the University of Lancaster, UK. Nonetheless, she also holds a Degree of Business Administration with University of Abertay Dundee in UK. Besides that, she has also received Oral Placement Therapy Training in Singapore. Wen Zi provides a one-to-one therapy in both home and centre based therapy, as she believes that the key to have clear communication and support from families are important in order to maximise the effectiveness for therapy. At the moment, Wen Zi is currently pursuing the Board Certified Behaviour Analysis (BCaBA) from Behavioral Analysis Academy to further enhance her understanding in working with special needs children. Last but not least, she is very passionate about her work and devotes her time to make sure each and every special needs children under her care improves by time. She loves being able to advocate and be that voice for children to ensure they are provided the best guidance. This is something that kept pushing her to grow in her career.
Celene is a Senior Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Therapist and in-house trainer for Autism Behaviourial Centre (ABC). Having started her career in 2014, she is dedicated in providing exceptional care in implementing effective treatment plans for children on the Autism spectrum. She works with a diverse client population in one-to-one and group-based therapy for different age-groups. She also provides basic ABA training to junior therapists and parents. She believes that having clear communication and good working relationships with the parents are keys to an effective therapy. Possessing a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) degree from HELP University, Celene is also a certified The Hanen Program (Teacher’s Talk) practitioner. She is currently pursuing the Board Certified Behaviour Analysis (BCaBA) certification from Behavioural Analysis Academy.
