Director
Charlene is the Director and owner of Autism Behavioral Center. She is a trained ABA Therapist and team leader, working with children in the spectrum in Malaysia since 2009. Under the tutelage of the pioneer center of ABA in Malaysia, as well as having the opportunity to work alongside consultants and BCBA’s from USA, Charlene has worked with children and individuals of all ages within the spectrum and developmental delays in general.
Charlene possesses a Professional Doctorate (PhD) in Business Management from the European International University- Paris, a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University College, and a certificate in Special Education Needs and Learning Disabilities. She is also a certified Play Therapy Practitioner. Charlene actively trains corporations (Malaysia Airports, Sunway Malls), parents and therapists around the country.
VENI

Hamseveni Raja Kumaran is the Accounts & Admin Executive for Autism Behavioral Center. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of International Business, majoring in Marketing and Accounting (Hons) from Management and Science University (MSU), Shah Alam. Finding an exceptional interest in numbers, Veni started her career in this field after she completed her studies in 2015.
Prior to ABC, Veni had provided her services as an Accounts Executive with a construction business, specializing in both private and government projects. With over 3 years of experience working in accounting and management field, Veni is an organized, dependable, and energetic leader who has proven her abilities to effectively motivate her fellow colleagues. Currently, she is contributing her best skills, new practices and strategies in accountancy for the growth of ABC as a company as well as for its future developments.
SATHANA
Human Resources Executive & Administrator | Bachelor’s in human resources management (Hons), Multimedia University
Sathana is the Human Resources & Administrator for ABC. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Multimedia University. Sathana started her career as a Human Resources Assistant in Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel. With a great performance, she has been transferred to St Regis Kuala Lumpur as a Human Resources Coordinator.
With over 2 years’ experience working in human resources field, Sathana is very passionate, organized and very collaborative working with people. She loves working in a profession that is still maturing and exploring different ways to make a difference. Currently, she is contributing her best practices and building a nice environment for the staff and helps ABC achieve great results.
RANGEETHA
Business Development Executive & Administrator | Bachelor of Communication (Hons) Media Studies, HELP University
Rangeetha Buspanathan is the Business Development Executive & Administrator for Autism Behavioral Center. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of Communication (Hons), majoring in Media Studies from HELP University, Kuala Lumpur. Throughout her degree, she has developed many skills in event management as well as understanding the importance of public relations in ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, media and the public.
Rangeetha first joined ABC through an internship program. During her internship program, she has engaged in event organising and building a strong relationship with clients. Currently, she is contributing her best skills, new practices in business development for the future growth and development of ABC.
JASMINE
Case Supervisor
Jasmine Lee is a Case Supervisor with Autism Behavioral Centre (ABC). She holds a degree in B.Sc (HONS) Psychology from Sunway University in affiliation with Lancaster University. Jasmine has 7 years of experience working with individuals of various ages from toddlers to adults in the Autism Spectrum.
She is experienced in developing structure of playgroups as well as facilitating therapists and parents in social skills training among children of the spectrum. Jasmine also has solid understanding of autism and behavioral principles that have been helpful in her training provided to therapists, parents and teachers. School shadow services has played a crucial part in Jasmine’s career working in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) – she works with kindergartens and international schools associating with the homeroom teacher to support children in adapting to school routines and achieving their maximum potential at school. Jasmine aims to empower therapists in order to provide a comprehensive therapy environment for the children.
FANNY

Fanny currently serves as the Head of Operations and Clinical Supervisor at the Autism Behavioral Center (ABC), where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing the team both clinically and operationally. With a decade of experience focused on children within the autism spectrum, she brings a wealth of expertise in addressing diverse needs, ranging from mild to severe. Fanny’s clinical responsibilities now extend to supervising a team that works with individuals across various age groups, from young learners to teenagers.
Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University, complemented by specialized training. Fanny has successfully completed Oral Placement Therapy Training in Singapore and the Hanen Teacher Training under the guidance of a certified practitioner. Additionally, she holds a professional certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) from the Behavioral Analysis Academy. Fanny’s comprehensive knowledge and leadership skills make her an invaluable asset to ABC as she guides and supervises the team to provide effective support and care for individuals on the autism spectrum.
WEN ZI
Consultant & Case Supervisor
Wen Zi is a Case Consultant who has been working with children in the spectrum with Autism Behavioral Centre (ABC) since 2015. She was first influenced by the joy she received in caring for children and how it made her feel. After that, she began working with children, and seeing how they learned from her, impacted her strongly. She has completed her Bachelor (Honours) Psychology Degree with Sunway University specializing for twinning with the University of Lancaster, UK. She also holds a Degree of Business Administration with University of Abertay Dundee in UK. Besides that, Wen Zi has also received Oral Placement Therapy Training in Singapore.
Wen Zi is very passionate about her work and devotes her time to make sure each and every special needs children under her care improves by time. She loves being able to advocate and be that voice for children to ensure they are provided the best guidance and she has taken a step further by becoming a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) recognised by the Behavioral Analysis Academy.
NICOLE
Clinical Supervisor
Having an interest in caring for special needs children, Nicole first joined ABC through an internship program. Intrigued by the opportunity of supporting the children and families with autism, she ventures in this field where she runs individual one-to-one ABA sessions and implements effective treatment plans for children in Autism Spectrum.
Currently, Nicole is a Case Supervisor who had gained experience in working with children of varying ages and levels on the spectrum (mild to severe). Nicole achieved her Bachelor (Honours) Psychology Degree from Sunway University validated by Lancaster University, UK. With the passion to provide services that are individualized to clients and families’ goals, she is currently pursuing the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from Behavioral Analysis Academy. Nicole is also passionate about community integration, advocacy for public awareness and acceptance of children with disabilities. She enjoys motivating clients to learn and work together as a team to support the children to reach their highest potential.
XIN YING

Xin Ying is a Senior Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Therapist in Autism Behavioural Center (ABC). She is also a Case Supervisor in training. With the passion to work with special needs children, she has started her career in this field since 2017. She is experienced working with children in the spectrum with varying ages, from toddlers to school-aged children.
Xin Ying provides one-to-one ABA therapy in both center and home support. She believes that consistency is crucial for an effective therapy, hence, communication with families is important to create a consistent learning environment for their children. She possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University and is currently pursuing her certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) with the Behavioral Analysis Academy. She is passionate about raising the public awareness on ABA in order to help and support the children in needs as well as their families.
COLIN
Trainer
Colin is an In-House Trainer with Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). He has 2 years of experience working with children on the spectrum (mild and severe) aged 2 till 18 years. He has earned his Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from the University of Minnesota, USA.
His first exposure working with children was as a Teacher at BeeBop Circus (Play gym) where he focused on Gross motor skills while engaging children through music and movements. This ignited his passion towards working with children and he began exploring the field of special needs. Using his one year of experience in the United States, he has brought back his expertise in play and movements to Malaysia and has integrated it into the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).
Colin is currently pursuing his certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) with the Behavioral Analysis Academy. He has provided home based therapy and shadow aide services and is currently focusing on center based therapy. Colin also organizes ABA trainings and supports therapist in the center to ensure the quality of therapy is maintained.

Dianne Geoffrey is a Case Supervisor at the Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). She graduated with first class honours from the Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology (Hons) program at Monash University. To date, she has gained a wealth of experience in providing Home based/ Center based ABA therapy and Shadow Aide services as well as treatment plans for children aged one to 13 years of age (mild to severe) on the Autism Spectrum.
Her passion to work with special needs children is reflected in her conviction that each child possesses uniqueness and capacity to optimise their potential with early intervention, an individualised treatment plan and adequate support from families/ teachers. Dianne is currently pursuing her professional credentials as a Qualified Autism Service Provider – Supervisor (QASP-S) with an internationally accredited credentialing agency, Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA) and aspires to pursue a postgraduate degree in this area of expertise.
Dianne strongly believes that by creating more awareness of Autism, we can strive to foster a more inclusive society, prioritising community integration. To crystallize this goal, she works closely with skilled behaviour therapists, families and teachers to create a consistent and enriched learning environment for each child to reach their highest potential.
QAVITHA HURRIYIH BUSPANATHAN
Case Supervisor
Qavitha is a Case Supervisor at ABC, specializing in providing support and therapy to children with autism and special needs. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Psychology from the University of Plymouth, UK. Her commitment to making a positive impact led her to pursue various certifications, including Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from BACB and ongoing pursuit of a Qualified Autism Service Provider – Supervisor (QASP-S) credential from QABA.
Throughout her career, Qavitha has worked tirelessly with special needs children since 2015, providing ABA therapy in both center-based and home-based settings. She has also served as a shadow aide in kindergartens and international schools, gaining valuable experience in diverse educational environments. Her passion lies not only in working with the children, but also supporting their parents and guardians to enhance their emotional and social development and overall well-being.
As a Case Supervisor at ABC, Qavitha continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of special needs children and their families. Her expertise in ABA therapy and dedication to personalized care enable her to help these children reach their full potential and achieve significant progress in their lives. Her unwavering commitment to her field exemplifies her as a compassionate and accomplished professional, positively shaping the lives of those she serves.
Nicole
Clinical Supervisor
Nicole started her ABA journey in 2017, inspired by the profound impact that ABA has on helping neurodiverse individuals and their families. She has experience working with children and teens aged 2 to 16 in homes, schools, and therapy centers. Nicole is passionate about delivering evidence-based interventions and taking a person-centered approach to help clients reach their full potential. Her interests include teaching functional communication, socialization, and building independent living skills.
She is currently pursuing her QASP-S certification from QABA. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from Lancaster University (UK) and Sunway University (MY). She looks forward to collaborating and building strong working relationships with the team, parents, and multidisciplinary health professionals to achieve meaningful outcomes for the neurodivergent community.
UNGKU NURILIDAYANA
Case Supervisor
Ungku Dayana (D) graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Psychology) with Honours from The National University of Malaysia (UKM). She has experienced running ABA therapy and shadow aide services for kids and teenagers on the spectrum, developmental delay and challenging behaviors.
She started as an ABA therapist and grew interest in continuing in the field upon seeing how positive progress ABA has helped to change these kids’ lives to fit into the real world. She is passionate about seeing every little milestone that the child/teenager progresses and truly believes that every milestone achieved needs to consistently progress and eventually, be able to transition smoothly into a mainstream school or work after receiving an effective ABA therapy.
She will continuously support and promote awareness of the importance of receiving an intervention to provide individuals on the spectrum an opportunity to fit in the social and community.
Shahras
Case Supervisor
Shahras is a dedicated and skilled behaviour professional with 3 years of experience in the field of behavioral analysis and therapy. Holding a Master’s in Child Psychology from UCSI University, she has developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and behavioral intervention strategies. Throughout her career, she has worked in different settings, including schools, home and community, where she has successfully implemented behavior modification plans and provided training to parents and staff.
In her current role as Case Supervisor at ABC, Shahras leads a team of behavior therapists, overseeing the development and execution of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that have significantly improved the quality of life for clients with developmental and behavioral challenges.
She is particularly skilled in conducting skill-based treatment (SBT) which is a versatile and thorough method for addressing severe challenging behaviors. Grounded in a trauma-informed approach, SBT provides a personalized treatment experience, promoting development, resilience, and lasting success for those dealing with behavioral and learning difficulties.
Alongside her current role, she is also pursuing Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) certification, which complements her dedication in providing ethical and evidence-based interventions. In addition to her professional work, Shahras is actively involved in Malaysia Association of Behaviour Analysis (MABA), where she volunteers in marketing and promotional efforts on ongoing CEU courses in the field.
KOK CHAI SYUEN
Case Supervisor
Chai Syuen graduated with Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology with Honours from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). She started her journey as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist with Autism Behavioral Centre (ABC) in 2019. She has been providing one-to-one ABA therapy for both center and home-based clients. Moreover, Chai Syuen has experience working with individuals from varying age groups on the Autism spectrum, ranging from toddlers to school-aged children.
She is very passionate about seeing every little milestone that the child achieves. For instance, witnessing a child with disruptive behaviors in the beginning, who is not able to communicate his/her needs and converse in two-way communication using complete sentences by seeking early intervention. She believes that every little effort placed in a child’s progress and milestone would eventually help the child in developing and improving their social, academic, communication and living skills. This further motivated her to pursue her certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behaviour Analysis Certification Board (BACB) to enhance her understanding and ensure she provides quality services when work with special needs children.
YAP KAH MUN
Case Supervisor
Kah Mun is a Case Supervisor at Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). She graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology (HONS) from HELP University. She has working in the field and started as a behavior therapist since 2019. Soon she moved up to Team Lead. Throughout the years, she has gained experience in implementing early interventions, teaching self-help skills, as well as school readiness skills.
Kah Mun has a strong interest in ABA as she has seen how it could improve the growth of children with autism and the positive impact it has on families. She is passionate about working with children and finds joy in seeing every little milestone as they achieved it. She believes that individuals with autism could develop to their best potential with early interventions. Kah Mun wishes to raise awareness of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles in Malaysia and foster a society with autism acceptance and inclusion.
COEY CHONG
Case Supervisor
Coey graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Psychology from HELP University and a Master’s Degree in Child Psychology from UCSI University. Currently pursuing the Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) certification, committed to continuous professional development. She is passionate about making meaningful changes in people’s lives using evidence-based and ethical approaches, always prioritizing respect, empathy, and person-centered care.
Coey values collaboration and works closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent and meaningful progress. In her role, she oversees individualized education plans (IEPs), mentors behaviour therapists, and supports parents in implementing effective strategies across environments. She has been working in the field since 2022 and started as a behavior therapist, empower children to reach their fullest potential, support families with understanding, and promote awareness of special needs and ABA. She strives to contribute to a more informed, inclusive, and accepting community where every individual is given meaningful opportunities to grow and thrive.
VARSYNI THANABALAN
Clinical Psychologist
Varsyni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from HELP University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cyberjaya, where she received specialized training in psychological assessments and interventions for mental health disorders. She is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and brings hands-on experience in providing home-based and center-based interventions, as well as working as a shadow aide in educational settings.
Varsyni has a strong passion for working with children and has extensive experience supporting individuals aged 2 to 16 years. She is skilled in conducting diagnostic assessments and screenings for a range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns, with a particular focus on neurodevelopmental disorders.
Currently, Varsyni is serving as a Visiting Clinical Psychologist Consultant at ABC, where she continues to provide assessments and professional guidance for children with diverse psychological and developmental needs
YVONNE MACSWEENY
Music Therapist
Yvonne, our music therapist, brings extensive expertise to her role. She is a registered practitioner with Music Therapy New Zealand and holds a master’s degree in music therapy from the University of Limerick, obtained in 2004. With over 20 years of experience, Yvonne has worked with children and adolescents across a wide spectrum of abilities and needs, including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, emotional and behavioral disorders, learning difficulties, and developmental challenges.
The Music Therapy programmed at ABC provides structured activities specifically designed to address the individual needs of each child. These activities support development across various domains, including communication, social and emotional skills, cognitive abilities, and self-regulation. Through music-based interventions such as singing, playing drums and percussion instruments, and movement to music children are encouraged to enhance their language skills, build confidence, and develop self-esteem. The Music Therapist offers creative guidance and support throughout the music-making process, facilitating new avenues for communication, expression, and connection.
RAFIQA HANA
Occupational Therapist
Rafiqa Hana Binti Baharudin is a passionate Occupational Therapist with 6 years of experience in the paediatric field. She supports children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay (GDD), as well as those experiencing sensory processing challenges and motor delays. She continuously enhances her clinical skills by attending various professional development courses, including Sensory Integration, Handwriting Intervention Strategies, and Neurodevelopmental Approaches, allowing her to deliver individualized, evidence-based interventions.
At ABC, Hana practices Sensory Integration and DIR Floortime approaches to support children’s sensory processing, cognitive function, motor development, fine motor skills, and handwriting abilities. She works closely with ABA interventionists and designs individualized sensory diet plans tailored for students receiving occupational therapy services.
ALYSON SIK
Consulting Speech and Language Pathologist
Alyson earned her Master of Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney in 2014 and brings over a decade of clinical experience across a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and community health centres throughout Sydney. In her work with schools, Alyson has trained teachers and implemented oral language programs to support children’s communication development and pioneered an innovative early intervention parent training program. Alongside her clinical expertise, Alyson has served as a clinical educator at The University of Sydney and has volunteered her services in rural Australia and Vanuatu. Alyson is the founder of Bali Speech and Language, established in October 2023, where she continues to support families and professionals in the region.
Since February 2025, she has also been working with the Autism Behaviour Centre, providing training on early language development to their staff. While Aly’s team is taking a more hands-on approach by collaborating with supervisors to deeply understand each child’s needs and progress. They then extend this understanding to parents by guiding them on how to support their children’s progress through structured home practices.
Zoey Agerbeek
Consulting Speech and Language Pathologist
Zoë is a dedicated Speech and Language Specialist with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Queensland (2021). She began her career in Indigenous Community Health in Australia, gaining invaluable experience in supporting culturally and linguistically diverse populations and developing expertise in early intervention, speech disorders and working with children with complex communication needs, such as Autism. In 2024, Zoë joined Bali Speech and Language Centre, bringing her passion for helping people build connections and foster a sense of community through communication.
Zoey has been partnering with Aly in conducting series of speech training for our staff. Many valuable insights and experience have been shared throughout these trainings. She has been a great support to the team who are conducting consultation sessions with supervisors and parents too.
