Charlene is the Director of Autism Behavioral Center. She is a trained ABA Therapist and team leader, working with children in the spectrum in Malaysia for 10 years now. Under the tutelage of the pioneer center of ABA in Malaysia, as well as having the opportunity to work alongside consultants and BCBA’s from USA, Charlene has worked with children and families of all ages.
Charlene possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP university College, and a certificate in Special Education Needs and Learning Disabilities. She is also a certified Play Therapy Practitioner. Charlene is currently pursuing her Masters in Education, majoring in Early Childhood Education (MEd-ECE). She currently divides her time working with families and therapists under ABC, and lectures in the College of Allied Educators in Kuala Lumpur, primarily in ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis), Autism, classroom behavior management and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
Charlene actively trains parents and therapists around the country, as well as provides school shadow aide services in local and international schools for special needs children and children in the autism spectrum.

An IT graduate who is passionate in empowering the community, Diyana’s working experiences had been primarily in Social Services/Non-Governmental Organisation ever since she completed her studies in 2006. Diyana has had an immense working experience with United Nation’s Children’s Funds (UNICEF) Malaysia on two separate humanitarian projects with the Malaysian government – one with the Ministry of Health (2007) and the other with Department of Social Welfare, Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (2011). She has also provided her services as an Executive Assistant to the Head of Corporate Communications and Fundraising unit of the National Welfare Foundation in 2012, an agency under the same ministry.
It was when she was offered a position as an Administrator & Preschool Teaching Assistant with Lorna Whiston Study Center that actually piqued her interest in pursuing a career in the education industry, supporting through her role in administration and Public Relations. Currently, Diyana is assisting the Director of Autism Behavioral Center (ABC) with Center Management and Business Development. As a mother of an autistic child herself, Diyana is driven by the desire to help families affected with special needs in Malaysia through ABC and its services.
Accounts Executive | Bach. International Business (Hons), Management and Science University (MSU)
Hamseveni Raja Kumaran is the Accounts & Admin Executive for Autism Behavioral Center. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of International Business, majoring in Marketing and Accounting (Hons) from Management and Science University (MSU), Shah Alam. Finding an exceptional interest in numbers, Veni started her career in this field after she completed her studies in 2015.
Prior to ABC, Veni had provided her services as an Accounts Executive with a construction business, specializing in both private and government projects. With over 3 years of experience working in accounting and management field, Veni is an organized, dependable, and energetic leader who has proven her abilities to effectively motivate her fellow colleagues. Currently, she is contributing her best skills, new practices and strategies in accountancy for the growth of ABC as a company as well as for its future developments.
Human Resources Executive & Administrator | Bach. Science of Biology (Hons), Zoology (Major), Management (Minor), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)
Nurul Nabilah is the Human Resources Executive & Administrator for Autism Behavioral Center. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of Science of Biology (Honours), majoring in Zoology and minoring in Management from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Pulau Pinang. Her longtime passion had been with nature and animals but her experiences working with
Prior to ABC, Nabilah had provided her services as an ambassador and Sales executive with Underwater World Langkawi Resort and has had several years of experience in Human Resources Management with Eden Group of Companies. Nabilah is a welcomed addition to the ABC team as she brought along with her, strong people management skills and ethics on top of being a well-organized, dependable, and energetic team player who has proven her abilities to effectively motivate her fellow colleagues. Currently, she is contributing her best skills, new practices and strategies in personnel management for the growth of ABC as a company as well as for its future developments.
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)
Dita Chapman, MSc., BCBA, earned her degree in Psychology in London followed by her postgraduate in Positive Approaches to Challenging Behavior at Cardiff University, Wales, UK. Dita started working on ABA home programs in London in 2004 before she relocated to SE Asia in 2011. Today, Dita works for Masaryk University in the Czech Republic (her home country) where she supervises students pursuing their BCBA certification and she oversees ABA programs in SE Asia.
Dita is currently supporting our BCaBA’s and ABA therapists as our in-house BCBA, visiting ABC Malaysia for 2 weeks at a time every 3 months.
Jasmine Lee is a Case Supervisor with Autism Behavioral Centre (ABC). She holds a degree in B.Sc (HONS) Psychology from Sunway University in affiliation with Lancaster University. Jasmine has 7 years of experience working with individuals of various ages from toddlers to adults in the Autism Spectrum.
She is experienced in developing structure of playgroups as well as facilitating therapists and parents in social skills training among children of the spectrum. Jasmine also has solid understanding of autism and behavioral principles that have been helpful in her training provided to therapists, parents and teachers. School shadow services has played a crucial part in Jasmine’s career working in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) – she works with kindergartens and international schools associating with the homeroom teacher to support children in adapting to school routines and achieving their maximum potential at school. Jasmine aims to empower therapists in order to provide a comprehensive therapy environment for the children.
Celene is a Case Supervisor in Autism Behavioral Centre (ABC). Having started her career in 2014, she is dedicated in providing exceptional care in implementing effective treatment plans for children on the Autism spectrum. She works with a diverse client population in one-to-one and group-based therapy for different age groups.
She also provides ABA training to junior therapists and parents. She believes that communication and good working relationships with parents are key to effective ABA therapy. Possessing a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) degree from HELP University, Celene is also a certified Hanen Program (Teacher’s Talk) practitioner. She is currently pursuing the Board Certified Behaviour Analysis (BCaBA) certification from Behavioural Analysis Academy.
Fanny is a Case Supervisor with Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). She has been working with children in the spectrum for over 3 years now. Fanny is experienced working with children in varying levels on the spectrum (mild to severe), as well as is currently working with varying ages; from young learners to teenagers.
She possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University. She also has received Oral Placement Therapy Training in Singapore and the Hanen Teacher Training from a certified practitioner. She is currently pursuing her certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) with the Behavioral Analysis Academy.
Consultant & Case Supervisor
Wen Zi is a Case Consultant who has been working with children in the spectrum with Autism Behavioral Centre (ABC) since 2015. She was first influenced by the joy she received in caring for children and how it made her feel. After that, she began working with children, and seeing how they learned from her, impacted her strongly. She has completed her Bachelor (Honours) Psychology Degree with Sunway University specializing for twinning with the University of Lancaster, UK. She also holds a Degree of Business Administration with University of Abertay Dundee in UK. Besides that, Wen Zi has also received Oral Placement Therapy Training in Singapore.
At the moment, she is currently pursuing the Board Certified Behaviour Analysis (BCaBA) certification from Behavioral Analysis Academy to further enhance her understanding in working with special needs children. Last but not least, she is very passionate about her work and devotes her time to make sure each and every special needs children under her care improves by time. She loves being able to advocate and be that voice for children to ensure they are provided the best guidance.
Having an interest in caring for special needs children, Nicole first joined ABC through an internship program. Intrigued by the opportunity of supporting the children and families with autism, she ventures in this field where she runs individual one-to-one ABA sessions and implements effective treatment plans for children in Autism Spectrum.
Currently, Nicole is a Case Supervisor who had gained experience in working with children of varying ages and levels on the spectrum (mild to severe). Nicole achieved her Bachelor (Honours) Psychology Degree from Sunway University validated by Lancaster University, UK. With the passion to provide services that are individualized to clients and families’ goals, she is currently pursuing the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) from Behavioral Analysis Academy. Nicole is also passionate about community integration, advocacy for public awareness and acceptance of children with disabilities. She enjoys motivating clients to learn and work together as a team to support the children to reach their highest potential.
Shadow Case Supervisor
Salina is a Shadow Case Supervisor and Senior Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Therapist for Autism Behavioural Centre (ABC). She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Communication (Hons) from Segi College, twinning with the Upper Iowa University, US. She has been working with children in the spectrum for 3 years now and her passion towards working with children has driven her to pursue career in this field of work.
Salina has experiences working with children of all ages (young learners to teenagers) and in varying levels on the spectrum (mild to severe). She has worked as home based therapist and currently she provides center based therapy and assisting as a school shadow in local International schools. Salina enjoys working with her students and has found a passion for using ABA to help them each achieve their potential and work toward their goals for behavior, academic, and social success!
Shadow Case Supervisor
Xin Ying is a Senior Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Therapist in Autism Behavioural Center (ABC). She is also a Case Supervisor in training. With the passion to work with special needs children, she has started her career in this field since 2017. She is experienced working with children in the spectrum with varying ages, from toddlers to school-aged children.
Xin Ying provides one-to-one ABA therapy in both center and home support. She believes that consistency is crucial for an effective therapy, hence, communication with families is important to create a consistent learning environment for their children. She possesses a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University and is currently pursuing her certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) with the Behavioral Analysis Academy. She is passionate about raising the public awareness on ABA in order to help and support the children in needs as well as their families.
Colin is an In-House Trainer with Autism Behavioral Center (ABC). He has 2 years of experience working with children on the spectrum (mild and severe) aged 2 till 18 years. He has earned his Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from the University of Minnesota, USA.
His first exposure working with children was as a Teacher at BeeBop Circus (Play gym) where he focused on Gross motor skills while engaging children through music and movements. This ignited his passion towards working with children and he began exploring the field of special needs. Using his one year of experience in the United States, he has brought back his expertise in play and movements to Malaysia and has integrated it into the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA).
Colin is currently pursuing his certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA) with the Behavioral Analysis Academy. He has provided home based therapy and shadow aide services and is currently focusing on center based therapy. Colin also organizes ABA trainings and supports therapist in the center to ensure the quality of therapy is maintained.
Alyssa is an in-house Trainer at Autism Behavioral Center (ABC).She has a degree in Bachelor’s Science of Psychology (Hons), from Iowa State University. During her time at the university, she buried herself in lab work, delving into fields of memory and education, as well as forensic psychology. She ran experiments and coded data as a research assistant for 1 year.
Alyssa continues her pursuit in helping individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities at a government aided organization in Iowa for 1 year. She assisted development, implementation of support plans, medication management, crisis and behavior management, as well as social skills by providing activities that enrich independence. The clients she worked with were young adolescents, adults and the elderly with various diagnosis. Following after, she returned to Malaysia with the knowledge from United States, bringing passion, light and joy to children. Her focus narrowed down to children on the Autism spectrum of mild to severe, aged 2 to 18 years old – strong emphasis on early intervention.
Alyssa has 2 years of experience in running Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy sessions one-to-one at the center, home-based and as a shadow aide at school. Alyssa conducts training to new therapists with a minimum of 50 hours before releasing them to run sessions on their own. Additionally, she maintains quality of therapy sessions of junior and senior therapists at the center. Alyssa immerses herself in challenging work in light of improving community and individuals. She greatly enjoys harnessing children’s levels of play, communication and focusing which environment works best with their strength.
